Deventer Burgerscap op een infobord

Friday, January 09, 2009

In Heesch (in province of North-Brabant) recently a informationplaque about landweren (late medieval defence lines) was put up, next to a recent reconstruction of a local landweer. The plaque's top border is decorated with drawings of 'medieval people'.
When I looked closer at them, I discovered the members of Deventer Burgerscap were depicted there! The artist had used the groupphoto from our website to make three rows of medieval people and put them next to each other. You can compare them yourself if you look at the photos.
